The tour is in a wine
region of Germany. It starts in Luxemburg goes through the wine valleys
of Mosel and Rhine and ends in Wiesbaden not far from Frankfurt.

Day by day description:
Day 1.
Arrival to Luxemburg. Exploring French culture, cheese and wine.
Day 2. 30 km
Cycling to Larochette - small town with its ruined 11th century castle.
Day 3. 60 km
Today we enter Germany and cycle to Trier through a real bicycle tunnel. Trier is motherland of Karl Marx, who was born here in 1818. The Porta Nigra (UNESCO World Heritage site), the largest and oldest Roman city gate is located here.
Day 4. 60 km
Today we start cycling along Mosel river. Picturesque landscape surrounds us the whole day. Finally we enter Bernkastel-Kues - a pearl of our route. It has the most beautiful views of Mosel, two castles, and of course wineries.
Day 5. 70 km
We continue along meandering Mosel river. We pass lots of lovely towns and castles. After cycling day relax in one of the wineries of Beilstein.
Day 6. 70 km
Today we cross the capital of wine region Cochem. The highlight of the day is the beautiful Eltz castle. At the end of the day we are in Winningen with its famous fountain which has wine instead of water during wine festival.
Day 7. 55 km
Today we turn to the South (in Koblenz) and follow Rhine river, the biggest river of Germany. We pass the main sightseeing of the Rhine: the Stolzenfels Castle, Loreley rock, Sankt-Goar. Highlight of the day is miraculous Bachcarach.
Day 8. 50 km
We are back to bigger cities: Wiesbaden, Mainz, Frankfurt. Wiesbaden is a famous spa resort, the first book was printed by Gutenberg in Mainz.

Departure.
